Love Our City

Love Our City is a national movement that was born out of Tampa, Florida. It gathers businesses, non-profits, community residents and faith-based organizations to partner together to serve their communities with thousands of community service projects. These projects meet tangible needs while also boosting volunteerism, morale, appreciation, and compassion in communities.

Love Our City 2022

God moved in a big way this year with love our city! We were able to complete 15 projects in 2022 from helping people with laundry to making meals for various organizations to finger painting with kids. We thank all of those who gave their time, donated towards the projects, and of course prayed over this whole time.  We are so excited to see for 2023! We have some great projects in store this year and some new things we're doing for the block party. We can't wait to have you a part of the projects and to have you at the block party!

Impact on the commmunity

Here at Midlothian Baptist Church, we saw a need in the community and wanted to better serve to people who live in it. Starting this year, we will be serving the community in a way we haven't before. October 8th through the 15th. We will be doing various projects from feeding our first responders, teachers to playing bingo at a local nursing home. We appreciate all the prayers and support through this time!
